The International Trail Running Association (ITRA) is the governing body of trail running. ITRA Points (0 to 6) are an international points scale indicating the endurance difficulty of a race. ITRA points are awarded to runners who finish an ITRA Member race. The points accumulated are considered proof of a runner's experience in finishing races of a certain difficulty. These qualification points earned in races organized by ITRA are used to qualify for other races within the ITRA.

Safranbolu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
With its traditional urban fabric, wooden houses, and monumental structures, Safranbolu is one of the rare cities in Turkey to be declared a protected site and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. As one of Türkiye's first sites to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, Safranbolu has been on the list since 1994. The highest quality saffron, one of the world's most expensive spices, is also grown in Safranbolu.
