MATERIAL SELECTION

In long-distance running, a crucial factor affecting performance is not only training but also the selection, use, and maintenance of equipment. Age, training level, and the choice of equipment specific to the course significantly impact performance. The right equipment will provide a comfortable racing environment while also allowing you to complete the course safely in challenging natural conditions. In extreme sports, safety is a prerequisite for competition. You must be able to take care of yourself in the terrain until help arrives if necessary. Mandatory equipment is essential for safety. Therefore, the absence of mandatory equipment necessitates penalties. The penalties for the absence of mandatory equipment are explained in the rules section.

Starting from the historic bazaar, the race center, the route will traverse the city streets and enter the countryside. After the turning point, the course will descend, leading into the mysterious Tokatlı Canyon. Running along the path through the canyon, you'll ascend the terrain and cross to the other side of the valley via a stone bridge offering panoramic views of the canyon. The route is then reversed, ending back at the race center. There is a water source at the turning point. A lively crowd awaits you at the finish line, accompanied by music. Until evening party time, you should visit the tourist attractions in the city center and sample the delicious local cuisine. We'll meet again at the after-party to unwind and share memories.

There will be 4 checkpoints on the course.

CP1: Beverage replenishment,

CP2-: Food and beverage supply,
